Details"Roots" is my first painting of 2025 and is included in my "Savannah Collection". This painting is a homage to the characteristic southern live oak trees of Savannah, Georgia. I took this reference in Forsyth Park, a landmark to locals and tourists alike. Having been compared to dragon scales, the cool tone colors and abstract paint strokes give a whimsical, lively energy to deeply grounded roots; a reflection on the rich history that nature has been witness to here in the lowcountry. This artwork makes for beautiful wall decor in any home.
