DetailsGiclee print of original modern artwork titled “Hydrant”. Part of what I call the “Savannah Collection”, a lens of my experience living in Historic Savannah, Georgia. A subversion of typical city art, these paintings highlight the dynamic between nature and industrial elements as opposed to normal tourist attractions. Through the abstract use of color and texture I aim for a playful, yet hazy feel that mirrors the unique vintage, urban charm downtown Savannah has to offer. The word “Hydrant” is a double meaning referencing both the fire hydrant and thirst-quenching beer bottle perched atop it. This colorful artwork makes a statement for wall decor in any house.
